The population of the Czech Republic increased by 3,200 to 10,541,500 from Jan. 1 to June 30, 2015. The number of inhabitants grew due to positive balance of net migration (6,600). The number of inhabitants in the Czech Republic decreased by natural change because the number of deaths exceeded the number of live births by 3,400, according to the Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ).
