Prague, Dec 17 (CTK) – Police caught a man with 42 kilograms of marijuana, which would fetch some 1.5 million crowns on the black market, in a stolen car in Prague on Monday, spokeswoman Iveta Martinkova said on the police web page Thursday.
The 27-year-old man coming from Asia claimed that he did not know what he is transporting. He was investigated for marijuana production in the past.
The man was questioned through an interpreter and accused of drug production for which he faces up to ten years in prison.
Besides marijuana, the police found four machetes, a chopper and three balaclavas.
