Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek was re-elected head of his party Sunday, beating a challenge from the eurosceptic mayor of Prague less than a month before taking the helm of the European Union. Topolánek beat Prague Mayor Pavel Bém by a landslide. The vote came two days before parliament’s lower chamber meets for an extraordinary session to discuss the Lisbon Treaty.
