Prague, Aug 27 (CTK) – Czech President Milos Zeman will hold a press conference on Monday, August 31, on the current political affairs and he will answer all the possible questions that journalists and reporters are going ask him, his spokesman Jiri Ovcacek told CTK Thursday.
Ovcacek said he does not expect the press conference to last several hours. “No press conference in the Czech Republic has lasted so long according to me,” he said.
Ovcacek holds press conferences regularly, presenting Zeman’s views. Zeman organises press conference only exceptionally.
The spokesman did not say on what issues Zeman plans to comment, but it can be expected that he will talk about his planned visit to China, the migration crisis and the Islamic State group, about which he spoke repeatedly.
Zeman will go to China next week. He will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the end of the Pacific war as the sole Western president to do so.
