Brno, Dec 27 (CTK) – The Czech police have levelled accusations against three foreigners who attacked another two men in Brno early on Saturday, local police spokeswoman Andrea Cejnkova said in a press release.
According to CTK’s information, the attackers come from north Africa and have been living in the Czech Republic for a long time. They speak Czech.
The main assailant has been accused of causing a severe bodily harm, dangerous threatening and breach of the peace, for which he might end in prison for up to ten years.
The other two offenders are suspected of breach of the peace, for which they might face up to two years in prison, if convicted, Cejnkova said.
The police were called to the scene of the incident by an emergency call. The perpetrators had left the scene before the police’s arrival.
According to the police, the men involved had a verbal conflict which developed into a brawl.
The damaged men are aged 31 and 32. “They suffered cuts and stabs and medical rescuers took them to a hospital,” Cejnkova said.
The police caught the three suspects, aged from 24 to 31, elsewhere in Brno.
