Prague, June 26 (CTK) – Only one in four Czechs consider the economic situation of the country good, yet this has been the most positive result since 2008, according to the latest CVVM institute’s poll whose results were released Friday.
Twenty-three percent said the economic situation of the Czech Republic was good and 1 percent said it was very good.
On the contrary, 29 percent said the economic situation was bad and 6 percent said it was very bad.
Forty percent considered the situation neither bad nor good.
In 2012 and 2013, from 5 to 8 percent of Czechs considered the situation good and a majority of them considered it bad.
Similarly, the number of people who considered the living standard of their household good has recently been growing, the poll showed.
Forty-three percent considered their living standard good, 39 percent said it was neither good nor bad, and 18 percent said it was bad.
The poll was carried out on 1043 people aged over 15 on May 11-18.
