Prague, Sept 27 (CTK) – The Prague High Court has released from custody after 15 months anarchist Martin Ignacak who is facing the charges of preparing a Molotov cocktail attack on a train transporting military materiel, Prague High Court spokesman Jan Fort confirmed the information to CTK on Tuesday.

Ignacak, along with another two accomplices, is charged with having planned the attack at the railway section between Prague-Radotin and Beroun, central Bohemia, in late 2014.

They face up to 20 years in prison or even a life sentence if found guilty.

The High Court has made the decision on the basis of a ruling by the Constitutional Court (US).

Last week, the US decided that the Prague High Court had made a mistake in May by prolonging custody of Ignacak.

It said since the court had failed to deal with all the objections, it had to decide again.

The High Court must now take into consideration both the current situation and the US finding. It has to decide whether Ignacak should wait for the verdict behind bars, Fort said.

Ignacak was remanded in custody for fear of escaping and avoiding prosecution.

He submitted a written promise, a guarantee from his sister and a proposal that he regularly meet a probation officer, but in vain. He repeatedly stressed that he would not intend to flee abroad.

Ignacak and the other suspects in the case deny the charges and plead innocent. They say the case is a result of a police provocation. They claim they have never planned a fire-bomb attack.

The remaining two women are charged in the case since they knew about the plans of the group and did not report it to the police.
