The Czech Republic has recognised Libyan rebels as the sole rightful representative of the country, the Czech News Agency said Monday citing a declaration it had obtained from Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg. “The development of the situation has confirmed the greater importance of the National Transition Council (NTC) to the extent that it is the only legitimate political representative of the Libyan people,” the declaration said.
