Klecany, near Prague, Sept 29 (CTK) – Czech police detained 11 foreign nationals, including children, at a D8 motorway lay-by north of Prague on Thursday and they are ascertaining the identity of the people who may be Syrian refugees.
Central Bohemia police spokesman Jakub Vincalek told CTK that the police found the foreigners in a car with a German number plate at a lay-by on the 1.5th kilometre of D8, a motorway that is to connect Prague with north Bohemia and the German border near Dresden after its construction is completed.
The 11-member group included six adults and five children. They are probably Syrians, Vincalek said, adding that the police will provide more information on Friday.
