Prague, Oct 31 (CTK) – Two armed perpetrators, probably foreigners, robbed a luxurious watchmaker’s shop in Parizska street in Prague stealing goods worth one million crowns on Monday, police spokeswoman Andrea Zoulova has said.
No one has been hurt during the incident and the robbers are at large, she added.
The perpetrators possibly escaped on a motorbike that the police found in a nearby street shortly after the crime.
“Not only the Prague police, but also regional police officers have been searching for the perpetrators intensively,” Zoulova said.
Detectives refused to release further information for tactical reasons.
Regional police are investigating the case. They are to assess camera recordings from the shop and from the municipal closed-circuit television, Zoulova said.
Parizska (Paris) street near Old Town Square is one of the main shopping boulevards in the historical centre where many of the most famous world brands of fashion, accessories and jewels are sold.
