The building authority of the Prague 1st district gave permission for a memorial to honor Czechoslovak pilots who served in Britain’s Royal Air Force in World War II. The National Heritage Institute (NPÚ) opposes the construction of the monument in Klarov Park and says it will appeal the decision.
