The Prague 7 district is hoping to become the artistic center of Prague. The city’s Institute of Planning and Development (IPR) has made a feasibility study on behalf of Prague 7. The project is called Art District 7. Prague 7 Mayor Jan Čižinský says the idea is to create an environment to encourage a living and working cultural district of theaters, galleries and similar venues.
