The idea to give Prague students under 26 an annual transit pass for CZK 365, or CZK 1 per day, was rejected by the City Council. The proposal was made by Deputy Mayor Petr Dolínek (ČSSD), who said it would help reduce the number of young people riding without tickets and also ease the financial burden on students.
