Prague Black Panthers triumph again at Czech American Football Finals

The Prague Black Panthers are once again the champions of the Czech League of American Football after winning in the finals against the Příbram Bobcats on Tuesday with an impressive score of 40-0.

This year’s final marked culmination of the 21st championships and the 14th time that Prague Black Panthers have won the title, with the match watched by over 3000 fans.

Prague Black Panthers dominated the game from the opening kick-off scoring seven points in the first quarter, 16 points in the second quarter and 17 points in the third quarter with American player Kyle Newhall-Caballero throwing four touchdowns.

The third quarter of the game saw a 29 yard pass from Kyle Newhall-Caballero to Stanislav Jantoš and another 51 yard pass from Kyle to Martin Šindler. The 2014 game marked the Příbram Bobcats’ first appearance in the Czech League of American Football finals and despite a valiant effort by the team they failed to score, while the Prague Black Panthers once again proved their worth as the reigning champions of Czech American football.
