The Czech Republic’s prime minister says he is ready to utilise army hospitals to help authorities cope with a possible mass exodus of doctors. Petr Nečas said Tuesday four military hospitals would be made available, as well as their means of transportation. Talks aimed at resolving a pay dispute with thousands of doctors failed last week. Around 3,800 doctors have handed in resignations — effective March 1 — if demands for higher pay are not met.
