October 4, 1958 marked indeed been a hugely important milestone in the history of the human kind. It was a day when the Soviet Union successfully launched the first Earth-orbiting artificial satellite, so called Sputnik 1. Now over 50 years later the USA and in fact all of us living in the entire “Western world” are experiencing another surprise Sputnik Moment.
