The Czech Republic is bracing for a week of rain, with the possibility of thunderstorms. The sun-filled days will soon give way to cloudy and overcast skies. According to the weekly forecast from the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ), temperatures will cool down slightly, reaching around 20 degrees Celsius today and Tuesday before a slight warm-up.
Today, meteorologists anticipate mostly cloudy conditions throughout the day, with intermittent breaks of partial sunshine in western Bohemia. Showers or rain are expected in various areas, with more frequent precipitation in the southern regions, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms. The Czech National Weather Service noted that temperatures will hover around 17 degrees Celsius during persistent rainfall, but will remain slightly above 20 degrees Celsius otherwise.
As we approach the end of the week, temperatures may rise to 26 degrees Celsius on Friday and reach 27 degrees Celsius over the weekend. However, localized showers or thunderstorms are still anticipated until the week’s conclusion.
