Since Wednesday evening, an intense search has been underway for a 31-year-old woman in Kladno, who was reportedly attacked and abducted in a car by her former roommate. Detectives have raised concerns that the 38-year-old man involved may be armed with a knife.
On Thursday, Police spokeswoman Barbora Šnějevajsová officially announced the search for the missing woman. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Hutska Street in Kladno.
The police in Kladno are actively looking for Alena Budikova, who is believed to have been forcibly taken against her will by her former partner, Michal Luknar, and driven away in a red Škoda Fabia with registration number 2SH 4655. Witnesses reported that this act was preceded by an incident of physical violence against the woman.
Michal Luknar, the wanted man, is described as approximately 180 cm tall, with gray eyes and short-cropped dark-colored hair. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, dark shorts, and a black bandana tied around his head. Alena Budikova, the missing woman, is around 165 centimeters tall, with long black hair and light brown eyes. She was wearing a black and white tracksuit along with black sneakers.
The search operation involves dozens of police officers, service dogs with canines, and even a helicopter in a nationwide effort to locate the couple, who remain unaccounted for.
Authorities have issued a warning that Michal Luknar may be armed with a knife and could pose a threat. They urge the public not to approach him if spotted, but instead, to immediately contact the emergency service number 158. Likewise, if anyone comes across the wanted vehicle or has information on the whereabouts of the man and the missing woman, they are urged to contact the police through the same emergency number 158.
