According to meteorologist Dagmar Honsová, following the passage of a cold front on Wednesday, the weather will remain calm for the remainder of the week. However, the second week of July will bring tropical temperatures and clear skies due to the influence of a high-pressure system and a warm southerly airflow.
Honsová predicts that the peak of the warm southerly flow will occur on Monday, with temperatures reaching as high as 35 degrees. However, during the same period, a waving cold front will begin to affect our region, leading to the possibility of showers and thunderstorms. The first half of the following workweek is expected to be characterized by frequent thunderstorms, Honsová stated.
Thursday’s weather will be partly cloudy, with isolated showers in the eastern parts of the region early in the day. Morning temperatures will range from 15 to 11 °C, while the western areas will experience around 9 °C. Afternoon temperatures will be between 23 and 27 °C.
Friday will be mostly clear with some clouds. Morning temperatures will range from 16 to 12 °C, while afternoon temperatures will reach between 24 and 28 °C.
Saturday will be mostly clear with a few clouds. Morning temperatures will range from 14 to 10 °C, and afternoon temperatures will rise to 26-30 °C.
Sunday will also be mostly clear with some clouds. Morning temperatures will range from 18 to 14 °C, while afternoon temperatures will climb to 29-34 °C.
Monday’s weather will be partly cloudy, with increasing cloud cover throughout the day and a chance of showers, downpours, and thunderstorms in some areas. Morning temperatures will range from 18 to 14 °C, and afternoon temperatures will reach 31-35 °C.
Tuesday will be partly cloudy to cloudy with showers, downpours, and thunderstorms. Morning temperatures will range from 19 to 15 °C, and afternoon temperatures will be between 29 and 33 °C.
Wednesday will be partly cloudy to cloudy with showers, downpours, and thunderstorms. Morning temperatures will range from 19 to 15 °C, while afternoon temperatures will be between 27 and 31 °C.
