Summer temperatures are set to make a return as the holiday season winds down in the Czech Republic, with the upcoming weekend expected to bring temperatures of approximately 25 °C. However, certain areas might experience intermittent showers and occasional thunderstorms. Meteorologists predict a similar weather pattern for the following week, as outlined in the weekly weather forecast from the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ).

Meteorologists anticipate a warming trend starting today, with the sun making more frequent appearances in the sky. Temperatures are projected to reach or exceed 20 °C in several places. Expect isolated daytime showers, particularly more concentrated in the northern regions, as stated on the Czech Weather Service’s official Facebook page.

Friday is expected to feature overcast to cloudy skies, initially partially clearing in the northern half of the Czech Republic, with the possibility of morning fog. In Bohemia, there’s a chance of sporadic light rain coming from the southwest. Daytime highs are forecasted to be between 18 and 22 °C, peaking at 24 °C in southern Moravia.

Approaching Saturday, temperatures are set to rise to around 26 °C. However, the northern areas might experience afternoon showers and sporadic thunderstorms. Moving into Sunday, the sky will vary from cloudy to partly cloudy, and there’s a potential for recurring showers and thunderstorms. Meteorologists predict daytime temperatures to fluctuate between 21 and 25 °C.
