According to the forecast provided by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ) and its statements on social networks, daytime temperatures this weekend are expected to surpass the summer high of 25 °C. The mornings will be clear, but in the afternoon, there is a possibility of rainfall in certain areas, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms.
Saturday will be partly cloudy, with temporary clouds during the day. It may rain in places and occasional thunderstorms may occur. Overnight lows will be between 12 °C and 8 °C, rising to 22 °C and 26 °C during the day. In the northeast, it will be around 21 °C.
Sunday will also be almost clear to partly cloudy at first. During the day, it will become cloudy in the northeast and, as on Saturday, there will be rain in spots and isolated thunderstorms possible. Overnight temperatures will be the same as Saturday, with a degree warmer during the day.
Gradual warming and similar weather will continue into next week. Meteorologists are forecasting up to 29 °C on Monday and up to 32 degrees in the following days.
