Prague, Feb 6 (CTK) – Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili will arrive on a visit to the Czech Republic on February 22-23, during which he will meet his opposite number Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka and other senior elected officials.

A visit by a Georgian prime minister to the Czech Republic was scheduled for last November, but due to a special EU summit it had to be postponed.

In the meantime, Foreign Minister Kvirikashvili became the prime minister in Georgia.

“The visit will bring new stimuli to the intensification of cooperation with a priority focus on the economic sphere, including trade exchange and Czech investments in Georgia,” the report on the visit, to be read by Czech government members on Monday, said.

Cooperation in culture and education will be also on the agenda of the talks.

The visit will include a discussion on the conflict in Ukraine, the attitude to Russia and the security situation in the Caucasus region.
