Czech retail sales including the automotive segment increased by 5.4% y/y at constant prices in 2014. The development was impacted mainly by a growth in sales recorded in the automotive segment. According to the Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ), sales in the automotive segment increased by 11.6% y/y at constant prices. Sales of motor vehicles grew by 12.1% and sales from repairs increased by 9.6%.
