The Czech Republic will most likely open two tenders for the electronic toll collection. This was stated by Czech Minister of Transportation Dan ok (representing ANO) after a meeting of a steering committee focused on the electronic toll. According to his words, the first tender will likely apply to the operation of the current system after the termination of the contract with Kapsch. The second one will likely cover the extension of the toll collection to first-class roads. Satellite technology operators could also apply for the second tender.
