The launch of the regular valorisation mechanism for payments for state insurees requires a change of the law, Minister of Health Svatopluk Němeček (ČSSD) has commented on the raising of the payments for government insurees by 3%, i.e. CZK 1.8bn, in 2015, approved by the government. According to Mr. Nìmeèek, the valorisation is necessary to secure the growth of medical staff’s salaries. The minister says that the current increase will support the ministry’s attempt at gradual rectification of the situation, as differences in remuneration cause massive outflow of medical labour force.
