The consortium of Škoda Electric and Solaris has presented the first trolleybuses for Budapest. The Budapest Public Company has ordered totally 36 new trolleybuses. The firm has an option for further 72 trolleybuses. The current contract is worth ca. CZK 520m. Škoda Electric’s business director Karel Majer has stated that the company will also deliver complete electrical gear, batteries and secure the final assembly of the vehicles.
