Citibank Europe has signed an agreement on the sale of its retail banking in the Czech Republic with Raiffeisenbank (RB). The transaction is subject to approval by the regulatory authorities and is expected to be completed in Q2 2016. According to Citibank, the contract covers the segment of retail banking and credit cards, the employees in the bank’s retail unit and its branches and ATMs. The contract’s details will not be disclosed.
