Prague, June 23 (CTK) – Guards of honour from four Central European countries will show their mastery in the Wenceslas Square in the Prague centre shortly after noon yesterday, Lieutenant Colonel Zdenek Dvorsky has told journalists.
They will show how they master weapons within the tenth Drillfest show, Dvorsky said.
Along with the guards of honour units, the Czech Military Central Music will take part in the show, he added.
“Soldiers only appear in exhibition shows on special occasions such as this one,” Dvorsky said.
“The performance by the Czech Military Central Music will be certainly a great show, too,” he added.
Guards of honour usually create and train their exhibition performances when off-duty. Each unit keeps secret the details of its performance till the last moment.
The show will be held on the occasion of the Czech Armed Forces Day on June 30.
Last year, Austrian and German soldiers performed within the Drillfest in the Prague centre.
