Last year, Budějovický Budvar sold over 1.6 million hectolitres of beer, according to the company’s results released on Thursday. Over the past 10 years, the brewery has registered an increase in production by 39 percent. Year-on-year, it increased by 10 percent over 2014. The brewery had a nearly 22 percent share on the overall export of beer from the Czech Republic in 2015.
