In 3Q 2016 the gross domestic product of the Czech Republic increased 0.2 % q/q and 1.9 % y/y. This is based on updated information from the Czech Statistical Office. The main growth factor of the economy was faster growth of household demand supported by a q/q increase in investments. The creation of fixed capital was 2.5 % higher y/y and 2.3 % lower y/y.
