CPI Hotels took over the operation of the former Mariott Executive Apartments hotel in Prague from January 1, 2016. From the beginning of December 2015, the group runs also the Starlight Suiten Hotel in Budapest. Mariott Executive Apartments was added, under the name of Mamaison Hotel Downtown Prague, to the Mamaison Hotels & Residences brand, which will in the future cover also the Starlight Suiten Hotel. With the acquisition, the firm raised the no. of hotels it is running in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Russia, to totally 28. Spokesperson Dana Belušová has noted for ČIANEWS that the group is gradually evaluating opportunities in the Czech Republic and abroad and plans further portfolio expansion in the future.
