Former chairman of the board of directors of ŠKODA AUTO Winfried Vahland will leave the concern Volkswagen on his own demand. Contrary to original plans, he will not take over the position of the concern manager of the North America Region. According to a statement published by ŠKODA AUTO, he was led to the decision by different opinions on the shape of the concern region NAR. This has no direct relation with current events related with diesel engines.
