Japanese manufacturer of airbag fabrics and printing plates Toray Textiles is planning to invest CZK 455m in its expansion in Prostějov. In the next five years, it will expand the current production with developers needed to develop printing plants and it will also increase the production of a polyamide fabric for airbag production. Twenty-one new jobs will be created. The company asked for an investment bid for the expansion in the form of a tax break of CZK 113.6m. This information was provided by CzechInvest, which added that it brokered investments worth CZK 1.732bn with Japanese companies in 2015 that included 132 new jobs.
