Police in Prague intervened on Monday morning with a man threatening a woman with a firearm in her apartment. The area around the house had to be cordoned off. The aggressor was detained.
The intervention took place in Prague’s Vršovice district on Minská Street.
“Police officers are intervening in Prague’s Vršovice district, where, according to initial information, a man is believed to be holding a woman in an apartment and threatening her with a firearm,” police said after 8 a.m.
Shortly thereafter, the police reported that the man had already been detained. There is no danger to anyone and the woman was not injured. Police officers will now investigate further circumstances at the scene.
