The ČHMÚ predicts significant temperature differences between different regions today. Western Bohemia will experience temperatures around 26°C, while in southern Moravia, the mercury may rise to 35°C. A high-temperature warning has been issued for the eastern part of the country, advising people to limit physical exertion and avoid leaving children and animals in cars outside. A cold front passing through the area will bring warm air, with temperatures ranging from 28 to 32°C, and even up to 35 °C in some parts of southern and central Moravia. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to occur during the day, particularly in the east.
Tuesday will bring a significant drop in temperatures, with highs ranging from 20 to 25°C. On Wednesday, temperatures will further decrease to approximately 18 to 22°C during the day, and it could drop to 11°C overnight. However, a warming trend will begin thereafter. On Thursday, temperatures are expected to rise to 20 to 24°C, reaching 25 to 29°C on Friday. Meteorologists predict that over the weekend, tropical temperatures will return, with highs of 25 to 30°C.
Skies will remain cloudy throughout most of the week. The first half of the week will be mostly cloudy to overcast, while the second half will be partly cloudy. There is a possibility of rain and showers occurring locally throughout the week, and thunderstorms may occur on most days, except on Wednesday and Thursday. Winds are generally expected to be light, except during storms when they may increase.
