Shareholders in Advanced World Transport (AWT) have achieved a deal on the sale of a stake of 80% in the company to Polish PKP Cargo for EUR 103.2m. The transaction will likely be completed in the first half of 2015. According to Kamil Èermák, the chairman of the board of directors of AWT, PKP Cargo represents a strategic partner for AWT and this helps AWT realise not only sales synergies, but also advance in a further development in the region of central and Eastern Europe.
