Czech Republic’s state budget income totalled CZK 762.4bn as of July 31, 2016, while spending reached CZK 686.8bn. Fiscal surplus thus totalled CZK 75.6bn, up from CZK 25.7bn in the same period of 2014. The Ministry of Finance has informed that the increase in national tax income by 8.2% was especially significant. VAT collection grew 2.8% y/y to CZK 139.1bn.
