GW Train Regio will be securing the operation of fast trains on the R16 Plzeò-Most route from mid-December 2016. The Ministry of Transport has awarded the relevant contract directly to GW Train Regio directly after the Office for the Protection of Competition confirmed in the second instance the decision to cancel the tender opened in 2016. GW Train Regio filed the best bid in this tender. According to Minister of Transport Dan �ok (ANO), GW Train Regio is currently leading talks with the Czech Railways and regional ordering parties e.g. about the conditions for recognition of fares and tickets.
