The main Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) for the Czech Republic dropped to 56.6 pts in August 2015 from 57.5 pts in July. Markit/HSBC have informed that the PMI results continue to indicate the significant overall improvement of conditions in the processing industry. The index has been above the neutral level of 50 pts since May 2013. The long-term average totals 52.8 pts.
