The investment expenditures of Teaching Hospital Plzeò (FN Plzeò) in 2H 2016 will total almost CZK 450m. The largest share will be accounted for by the construction of a parking structure at the FN Plzeò Lochotín facility. It will be followed by a larger reconstruction (station for long-term intensive care and surgical clinic wing) and the renewal of selected medical equipment. This was stated for ÈIANEWS by hospital spokeswoman Gabriela Levorová, who said that the hospital is also planning to partially increase the number of physicians (for example in the neurosurgery, urology, neonatology, psychiatry, cardiology and neurology wards). It currently faces a lack of general practice nurses and medical laboratory workers, which should improve with the arrival of graduates.
