ŠKODA brand sold totally 49,088 vehicles in 7M 2016, up 5,425 y/y. The drop of 1,712 cars in July was caused by the three-week factory holiday, national holidays and weekends. The head of ŠKODA AUTO’s sales organization, Luboš Vlček, has added that the company maintains an optimistic outlook for the second half-year after record sales in H1 2016 and believes that cumulated sales will grow. According to Mr. Vlček, the combination of quality products and customer-oriented services provided by modern dealership is the key to stable growth.
