The Regional Development Ministry has announced that the volume of unused money from European funds for 2014 will most likely be reduced by more than half to less than CZK 9bn. The ministry stated this based on the current estimates of other ministries. At the start of last year there was a threat that the Czech Republic would not use up more than CZK 20bn from European funds in 2014. The exact sum that was not used up by the end of 2014 will not be known until the middle of 2015.
