Between the first and third quarter of 2016, Česká Spořitelna provided 20,307 mortgage loans totalling CZK 40.5bn, up 11% on the year. In the first nine months of the year, Raiffeisenbank financed almost 6,700 mortgage loans in the amount of CZK 15bn. In the first ten months of the year, UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia provided roughly 5,100 mortgage loans worth CZK 8.5bn. It expects roughly a 30% increase in production in November and December. Wüstenrot Hypoteční Banka provided 3.685 loans worth almost CZK 6.3bn, up 8% volume-via, from January to the end of November 2016. At the end of the third quarter of 2016, Equa Bank reported a 25% increase in the volume of the entire mortgage-loan portfolio to almost CZK 13bn. This information stems from a ČIANEWS survey.
