Totally CZK 1.3 trillion passes through the VAT controlling report system ever years, with tax evasions estimated at CZK 80bn. As of June 6, 206, VAT collection grew at least CZK 5bn thanks to controlling reports. The Financial Administration has announced that it detected almost 90,000 risky cases or unreported tax or incorrectly reported tax in Q1 2016. Almost 19,000 payers have not paid reported VAT totalling CZK 1.7bnyet. Tax administrators have so far reviewed inconsistencies in reports in the case of almost 37,000 payers, i.e. 7% of totally 500,000 VAT payers.
