CzechInvest is currently in talks with Chinese investors regarding possible projects worth about CZK 20bn. This information was provided by the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic during the 16+1 summit in Riga on November 5, 2016. In 2016, CzechInvest has entered into six investment projects with China worth almost CZK 3.5bn. In 2015, the volume of China’s investments in the Czech Republic amounted to approx. CZK 1.1bn, and these projects created 702 jobs. The Czech Republic’s exports to China totalled CZK 45.6bn in 2015.
