New passenger car registrations in the Czech Republic in 2015 increased by 20.04% y/y to 230,857. The Automobile Importers Association (SDA) has informed that with the exclusion of short-term registrations the total grew by 19.8%. The most popular brand was ŠKODA with 73,927 registered cars (32.02%). It was followed by Volkswagen (23,754; 10.28%), Hyundai (19,688; 8.52%) and Ford (15,432; 6.68%). Another brand exceeding the 10,000 limit was Dacia (10,512, 4.55%).
