STUDENT AGENCY group generated CZK 3.15bn from airline ticket sales in the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 2015. Sellers in CR issued 257,000 tickets worth CZK 2.74bn. Airline ticket sales director Věra Janičinová has stated that the turnover increased by more than 7% y/y. Online ticket sales via website and applications grew by 11%. January was the strongest sales month with more than 23,000 issued airline tickets.
