Carmaker ŠKODA AUTO raised its sales by 1.5% to 92,500 cars in May 2015 (May 2014: 91,200 vehicles). European sales of the new ŠKODA Fabia increased by 35.3%. The firm registered growth primarily in Western and Central Europe, China and India. ŠKODA AUTO’s board of directors member responsible for sales and marketing, Werner Eichhorn, has stated that the situation on the Russian market and in adjacent regions remains critical.
