In 2015 SPOLANA has invested a total of EUR 47,000 into the purchase of emission permits. In Q3 and Q4 2015 emission permits are not being purchased. In 2015 the company completed the optimization of its wastewater treatment plant (measurement of oxygen concentration), renewed its HAS analyzer including an NOx emissions measurement system and renovated the emergency sump below its heating oil reservoirs. This was stated in a ČIANEWS survey by communications manager Jitka Němečková, who added that SPOLANA will by the end of the year repair the silencer on the chimney fan at its HAS production facility.
