University Hospital Plzen will invest a total of CZK 650m by the end of this year. Subsidies will form nearly CZK 300m of the sum. The business result will likely reach about CZK 5m at a mild growth in the turnover to CZK 5.525bn, ČIANEWS was told by hospital head Václav Šimánek. According to his words, UH Plzeò will start project work for the construction of a new surgery branches pavilion for CZK 1.5bn in 2016. The hospital will open a public tender for the supplier of the construction and the construction itself could begin in 2017. The new pavilion will likely show a capacity of 450-500 beds.
